Summary:Today is precious is the presence of the head of a developed emotional intelligence because the head is necessary to capture the mood of subordinates and employees. This article briefly outlines the concept of the Professional Project Manager - the person who unites the main groups of professional competences and has a highly developed level of emotional intelligence. These competences are divided into the spectra group (sphere): people, practice and prospects. Therefore, the aim of this work is to study the relationship between emotional intelligence and professional competence of Project Manager. To achieve the above goal, the writing work was assigned the following tasks: 1) Establish the influence of professional competence on the development of emotional intelligence; 2) Consider the life cycle emotional intelligence and development of breakthrough competencies.
