Summary:In this paper, the transient disturbance voltage induced at the secondary side of the electronic voltage transformer are measured when the circuit breaker of a 6kV switchgear are open/closed. The typical characteristics of the measured voltage waveform are analyzed. The results show that the waveform looks like a damped oscillatory wave with peak voltage up to 50.62V, the rise time about 8~16ns, and the dominant frequencies between 1-60MHz. These results are helpful for establishing the immunity test standard waveform for secondary equipment deployed around the switchgear.
