1.3 μm Laterally Coupled Distributed Feedback Laser with High Side Mode Suppression Ratio and Bandwidth

A 1.3 μm laterally coupled distributed feedback laser was realized with deep lateral gratings. High side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of 50.24 dB and 3 dB bandwidth of about 10 GHz were demonstrated.
