Summary:This paper focuses on Input Parallel Output Parallel multi-modular DC-DC converter having PV Cell as an input side. As the output of PV cell changes due to various reasons such as the change in temperature, illumination and partial shading etc. causing the voltage drops and less output current. Therefore, the efficiency of the IPOP modular dc-dc converter may be affected due to above-said variations in the PV cell. To overcome this issue a proper control scheme along with Input Parallel Output Parallel multi-modular DC-DC converter with PV cell as input is simulated on MATLAB using Simulink tool. Multi-modular DC-DC converters are simulated under different load conditions and line variation. The simulated results presented in the paper are found satisfactory as the power balance sharing occurs between input and output regardless of the different load condition and line variations.
