Summary: | A wireless system-on-chip (SoC) dedicated for detecting the pH value of human alimentary canal is presented in this paper. All the necessary circuit functions for a swallowable miniature pH monitoring device is integrated in this SoC except the electrochemical sensor. The whole chip is composed of four major parts which are analog front end (AFE), power management (PM), digital controller and the RF transceiver. A novel pH sensor interface structure is also proposed in this paper, which can read the pH sensor output precisely. The SoC is fabricated in 0.18μm CMOS process and occupies 2.0*1.6mm 2 . |
