Summary:In this paper we present a method of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation using a sparse array based on compressive sensing. The sources are assumed to be at off-grid location with respect to the receiver array. We show that the off-grid DOA of the sources can be estimated almost accurately by using the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) algorithm for reconstruction from the sparse samples.
