Summary: | Mitsubishi Electric established Hyper Cycle Systems Co. Ltd. (HCS), the industry's first recycling plant in 1999 in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. HCS initially conducted extensive research and development on sorting and recovery of plastic materials and actively undertook recycling using original technology. Mitsubishi Electric also established the Uni & Eco brand of household appliances as a proposal for the creation of a sustainable society. Hyper Cycle Technology which is one of Uni & Eco element is the recycling of materials considered difficult to recycle. Applying the concept of "self-circulation "from old to new appliances, we seek to create our own market and conduct high-quality and large-volume recycling. In the future, Mitsubishi Electric, through its R&D centers, manufacturing plants, and recycling centers, will seek to develop technologies that both reduce environmental loads (ecology) and costs (economy) and to make breakthroughs in creating a sustainable society through the development and verification of technologies |
