Summary:Complications related to volume increase of data that needs to be analyzed, lack or insufficiency of complementary metadata and task of transforming data to ontologies in this context are described. Applications with declarative approach for solving task of transforming arbitrary located data in any available format to ontological representation are examined. Relevant languages and technologies are reviewed. Model of functional conveyor is suggested and its application for transforming diagrams is described. Examples of implementing transformation using different languages are given.
