A new method for fuzzy decision-making based on likelihood-based comparison relations

In this paper, we present a new fuzzy decision-making method based on likelihood-based comparison relations. First, we introduce likelihood-based comparison relations on intervals. Then, we propose the likelihood-based comparison relations using type-1 fuzzy sets and interval type-2 fuzzy sets based...

Summary:In this paper, we present a new fuzzy decision-making method based on likelihood-based comparison relations. First, we introduce likelihood-based comparison relations on intervals. Then, we propose the likelihood-based comparison relations using type-1 fuzzy sets and interval type-2 fuzzy sets based on likelihood-based comparison relations on intervals. Finally, we present a new fuzzy decision-making method based on likelihood-based comparison relations using type-1 fuzzy sets and interval type-2 fuzzy sets. The evaluated values of the proposed method can either be crisp values or intervals or type-1 fuzzy sets or interval type-2 fuzzy sets. The proposed method can handle fuzzy decision-making problems in a more flexible and more intelligent manner.
