Applying the variable projection scheme to data calibration in electromagnetic data inversion
We apply the variable projection method to calibrate measurement data in electromagnetic data inversion. The method is successfully incorporated into the existing two-and-half dimensional electromagnetic data inversion algorithm and works effectively in reconstructing the conductivity distribution.
