Summary:Though ATA protocol is a simple, unintelligent data transfer protocol, and the orientation of its devices are the low-end market, these are the very key points which make it possible to facilitate the implementation of RAID with ATA disks. In this paper, we proposed a scheme of implementing a simple ATA RAID which is called handy RAID, and in the end of the article there are our experimentation measure results.
