Summary:As multimodal transportation has become an increasingly popular research topic, the relevant military transportation issues have also begun to be paid attention to. This paper took path optimization issue in multimodal military transportation as the subject, in which, a multimodal military transportation network was established on the basis of road transfer, and a path optimization model for multimodal military transportation was thus structured. Due to the high order model which was caused by the security attribute in military transportation, this paper furthermore introduced phase safety probability and improved the original model to a second order 0-1 planning model. Then, a typical case which involves 53 nodes was selected to do simulate analysis, with time, cost and safety probability as the goals of optimization. After separately using Lingo 9.0 to get the solutions of the high order and secondary models, the consistent results proved the models' correctness and the realizability of getting solutions. It was specially worth noting that the improved model only took around one second to obtain the globally optimal solution, demonstrating very good real-time performance, stability and ability to get globally optimal solutions.
