Summary:Power communication rooms have a decisive effect on the reliability and stability of grid system. As a significant method to realize smart grid, environmental dynamic monitoring system for power communication room plays an important role on safe operation of power communication. Firstly, the necessity for the status monitoring system for power communication room is described. And the principles of system design are also provided. Then the monitoring system is illustrated in detail, which consists of three layers, namely master layer, monitoring layer and data collection layer. At last, the application prospect of the environmental dynamic monitoring system is presented.
