Summary: | New challenges to the manufacturing system development from the market are the flex production, mass customization and the product differentiation. However, the traditional methods in industrial practice and the related works addressed are lack of a proper solution to supply the function of operation sequence planning automation, which is an important step to tackle the problem incurred by manual programming causing the extra integration code, the redundant logic, and the unexpected behaviors of machine after integration by unverified programs. According to the improved entity-flow model, towards the module-integrated pipelining manufacturing system, this paper proposed an method for planning and generating the low level operation sequence for material transfer and processing conducted by the client's originated requirement to the products. According to the entity-flow model, two conditions that all the operating sequences generated satisfy: (1) the request from the material processing procedure; (2) none of unsafe situation occurs, e.g. tearing, collision and fly-out. |
