Summary: | Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) is an advanced non-metallic composite which offers enormous potential for use in a wide number of engineering applications, ranging from sports goods to advanced aircraft structures due to their great performance. Failure prediction based on nondestructive testing technique is an important strategy to guarantee the effective long-term work of CFRP. Electromagnetic measuring technology is non-invasive and highly sensitive to the conductivity change. The paper proposes a CFRP non-destructive testing system based on electromagnetic measuring technology and prove the effectiveness by signal analyzing of the specimen with surface crack. |
