Summary: | The potential growth in Mobile ad-hoc Network triggered the Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) for traffic security and efficiency on roads, because once deployed they could bring a new environment to drivers.Vehicular communication in real time environment makes privacy a real challenge, which might affect the large scale deployment of VANETs. Researchers have proposed many solutions to these problems. This paper provides a detailed study on different privacy preserving authentication algorithms in vehicular communication. We start the paper with an introduction to system architecture and the requirements needed. Detailed discussion on different algorithms comes afterwards. |
