Summary:A modeling and simulation method for evaluating the jamming performance of a repeater-type active decoy on dynamic combat scenarios is proposed. The time domain echo signals at the tracking radar is evaluated by considering the RF characteristics of the active decoy and the tracking radar based on the Friis transmission formula. Numerical simulation are examined to analyze the jamming performance of the active decoy for various RF characteristics against the ground tracking radar on specific deployment scenarios.
