Summary: | In this paper, a full-duplex (FD) cognitive radio network (CRN) with non-synchronized primary and secondary networks is considered. The analytical expressions for detection and false alarm probabilities are derived for Rayleigh fading channels. The present work further analyses the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) and the total error rate (TER) using energy detection method. Additionally, the effects of synchronous and asynchronous primary user (PU) activities on spectrum sensing performance are also observed. The analytical results are validated through simulations. |
