Summary:In this paper, we propose a novel control method using voice recognition for electric equipment. By doing so, users can just make voice to control the targeted machine and use without any hand-held device. Especially, the implemented system is based on a FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) embedded system, that provides a capability to enhance the performance of signal processing by employing specific hardware-accelerated co-processors. As such, a more intelligent and performance effective control style will be realized for future smart control of electric equipment.
