High Sensitivity Strain Sensor Based on Acousto-Optic Coupling in Cladding Etched Fiber
Strain effect is studied in cladding etched all-fiber acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). A strain sensitivity of as high as 518 pm/με was demonstrated experimentally at 22μm for coupling between LP01 and LP11.
