Summary:In time difference of arrival (TDOA) location system, the cooperative localization algorithm based on Particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Taylor series not only solves the problem that particle swarm is easy to fall into local optimum, but also avoids the inappropriate initial value which leads to non convergence of Newton iterative algorithm. In practical applications, the coordinate information of observation station is usually obtained by GPS localization. Therefore, this paper proposed the influence of different site layouts on the positioning accuracy in WGS-84 coordinate system using collaborative localization method. Simulation results show that the cooperative localization algorithm has higher reliability and site layout has a great influence on the positioning accuracy of the cooperative localization algorithm. For the introduction of three types of site layout, collaborative localization algorithm in Triangle station layout has higher positioning accuracy.
