Summary:In this study, the propagation and interaction of ultrasonic waves in concrete structures wave diffraction with cement mortar are studied as experimentally. Ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) in concrete was measured by Pundit Lab. Within the scope of the experimental procedure, mortar mixtures with Water to Cement (W/C) ratio of 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 were tested for 150 mm and 100 mm travel path lengths at 54 kHz frequency. Two different measurement types which are direct and indirect method have been used and the results have been studied with hypothesis tests on the difference in means and variances unknown method.
