Summary:Beyond the construction aspects of a residence, a home is a context in which individuals engage in meaningful activities of daily living or occupations. How a constructed space is designed can enhance or hinder occupational performance, improve or aggravate a physical condition and promote or disregard sustainable construction. Performance outcomes for people, populations and communities are improved through collaborative team efforts. Interprofessional collaborative experiences allow practitioners to learn from one another and lead the way for effective and accessible environments which promote health, well-being and quality of life.
