Summary:Because of the randomness and volatility of renewable energy generation and load, energy storage device plays an important role in ensuring the safe and steady operation of micro grid. For a combined heat and power micro grid, Heat tank is modeled similar to battery and allocation model of heat and electricity storage based on economic dispatch is established. Multi-scenario theory is adopted to consider randomness and artificial bee colony is applied to optimize the operation of micro grid with different storage capacity. Finally, composite cost of micro grid with different storage capacity is compared to determine the best capacity. A case study is conducted to verify that method and model presented can effectively decrease composite cost.
