Summary:Language teachers have been enthusiastic users of information and communication technologies (ICT) for a long time. When the Internet first became an integral part of the language teaching/learning process, along with it came the possibility to create and develop new approaches to languages. ICT and the Internet offer enormous potential in language acquisition and have brought a qualitative change to a classroom, such as the access to authentic materials, the possibility for `real-life' discussions, and the genuine internationalization of the educational process.
