Summary:This paper proposes an optimization control scheme based on the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) strategy and Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) technique for the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) wind turbines. For ADRC parameter tuning problems of the wind turbines, this paper presents a hybrid optimization method, which combines intelligent genetic algorithm and numerical optimization of nonlinear least squares method. This method can effectively tune parameters of ADRC. With the help of the control method adopted in this paper, the PMSG wind turbines can achieve the optimal power capture.
