Summary:The paper investigates the effects of learning on integration capability and firm performance. From the knowledge-based view of the firm, a conceptual model is developed and three research hypotheses are empirically examined by using structural equation modeling. The data are collected via a survey of 113 senior or middle managers of manufacturers. Our results provide empirical evidence supporting the positive effect of internal and external learning on firm performance, mediated by integration capability. Theoretical, managerial and research implications are discussed.
