A macro-model of SCR for transient analysis in power electronic system

A practical macro-model of thyristors for power electronic circuit simulation using PSPICE has been developed. The forward and reverse recovery process of thyristors can be described by the model. The parameters of the model can be easily extracted from the data sheet specifications.
