Summary: | In order to be completely adopted by industry, workflow management systems (WFMS) have to provide a more complete support to organisational processes. The cooperation is part of the missing features. The authors propose to integrate a computer supported cooperative work system in a WFMS to solve the cooperation problem. This integration consists of interoperability between the two systems thanks to the Meta-Object Facility and inheritance. By describing the construction scenario of the bridge between the two systems, the paper shows the benefits of using MOF for achieving interoperability. |
