Summary: | This paper seeks to provide a direct comparison between two types of induction motor MRACS based speed estimators, one based on the rotor flux and the other based on the back EMF. Comparison between the two techniques is made through computer simulations and verified with experimental results obtained from a digital signal processor (DSP) based vector control system. The performances of both techniques are evaluated in an indirect vector control system and the results are presented. |
