Summary:This paper describes the functional E-band transmission tests of an integrated nano-satellite before launch. The feasibility and performance of a transmission in multiple frequency multiplexed channels is investigated, using the developed payload transmitter and the implemented digital signal generation in its integrated state. Succesful transmission experiments in E-band of four frequency division multiplexed (FDM) channels with a total data rate of 3.2 Gbps over an emulated distance over approximately 530km are demonstrated. The IQ-impairments of these measurement have been verified in a system level simulation, showing the potential of FDM with the given resources and pointing out design requirements for future 6G communication transceiver chipsets.
