Summary:In this paper, a dynamic economic dispatch model of wind-hydro hybrid power system incorporating a proposed wind generation cost model is established to implement the minimization of total system generation cost. The wind generation cost model is presented based on a probabilistic analytical model of wind farm power output considering wake effect. Dealt with correction strategy and penalty function method, the proposed dynamic economic dispatch model is converted to an unconstrained optimization problem which is to be solved by the particle swarm optimization algorithm with immunity (IA-PSO). Finally, the case studies are carried out on the classic 10-unit test system as benchmark, and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and validity of the proposed model and method.
