Coherent modulation of light with graphene

Recent advances in light matter interaction have demonstrated the possibility to coherently absorb and modulate light with sub-wavelength, partially absorbing thin films. We demonstrate an ON-OFF ratio of 90% using graphene as a broadband modulator.
