Summary: | Cloud computing is often presented as the fifth generation of computing providing a wide range of techniques (virtualization, utility-based pricing, etc.) to deliver everything as a service through Internet. It is an attractive way that enables users to take advantage of the powerful computation solutions and the numerous available network services. And as any other new technology, cloud computing has several major issues and concerns. In this paper, we address the problem of guaranteeing security while managing cloud computing resources. We propose a security-aware optimization model based on game theory. We present simulations showing the impact of "resource pooling", which is one of the cloud characteristics that threaten the cloud security, on cloud providers revenue. |
