Sub-Wavelength Intensity Profiles and Field Enhancement within an Optical Fiber

We demonstrate concentration of optical energy within a sub-wavelength air hole running the length of an optical fiber. The fiber core resembles a tiny tube with a bore diameter of 200 nm or less.
