An extremely compact electro-absorption modulator integrated DFB laser module for 100Gbps Ethernet over 75km SMF reach

One seventh miniaturized EA-DFB laser module with +/-100 ps/nm dispersion tolerance at 25 Gbps was demonstrated. Itpsilas the worldpsilas first module applicable to the small 100 Gbps Ethernet transceiver.
