Carrier-Suppressed Single Sideband Signal for FMCW LiDAR using Si Photonic Crystal I-Q Optical Modulator

We obtained carrier-suppressed single-sideband signal with a side-mode suppression ratio over 20 dB using photonic crystal I-Q modulator. When we used it for FMCW LiDAR setup, the signal was 5.3 dB higher than double sidebands'.
