Summary:In this study, a minimum number of sensors are applied on the side of two cylinders on the diesel engine in order to build an abnormal diagnosis system which detects anomaly behavior at an early stage by analyzing the acceleration waveform using the ALM method. This measurement system can be applied to the ship afterwards and by using the satellite phone system to transfer the data, it is possible to manage the state of the engine from an office on land without the usage of a personal computer system on board.
