Summary: | Discusses how to apply P-timed place/transition Petri nets to simulate the continuous dynamics of batch production systems (BPS). Such systems can be seen as a hybrid system since the automation of batch production considers discrete and continuous models. An algorithm to verify the capacity of storage elements in a BPS in a given time interval is introduced. Also, an extension of the introduced algorithm in order to verify overflows are presented. |
