Summary:Hydrogen bonds involving the backbone phosphate moieties of RNA as acceptor groups can be directly detected by solution NMR spectroscopy using simple and sensitive H,P correlation experiments as is described by J. Wöhnert and co‐workers in their Communication on page 7927 ff. The direct identification of these hydrogen bonds will provide valuable structural constraints for the determination of complex RNA structures.
