Summary:The concept of the integrated platforms has grown in the past 10 years, mostly due to the impressive evolution of technology. Thus, nowadays, the three most important services that comprise the basic elements of technology: data, voice and video; can be integrated under the same platform. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the behavior of this type of platforms, concerning interoperability level signaling protocols, to study and to further understand the capabilities and performances of an integrated platform, illustrating its advantages and disadvantages.
