Summary:Technological preferences for communication purposes among different generations have resulted intergenerational communication gap. On one hand elderly people prefer simple and easy technology while high-tech savvy young people prefer advanced customizable technology which can provide several options. Due to this, social isolation and loneliness can be commonly witnessed among elderly people. In this paper, we propose our system "Photo Alive!" to bridge intergenerational gap between elderly and young people. We focus on engagement of elderly people in social media through photos with special goal to bring them together with family members, friends and loved ones of all generations.
