Summary:The subject of this paper is the development of a teaching aid which is useful for the education of engineering students in courses like system dynamics or control techniques. In system dynamics one of the main topics is the transfer behavior of linear single-input single-output systems. However, students often have difficulties in understanding due to the certain abstraction level and a lack of reflectivness in everyday life regarding fundamental physical principles.
