Summary:Grid structure is a common structure form of long-span roof. It has many advantages such as beautiful shape, saving steel, big spatial stiffness, etc, in engineering at home and abroad, this roof structure has been widely used, such as large gymnasium, airdrome, exhibition hall, showplace, industry workshop, etc. This paper establishes a three-dimensional space model of square pyramid space grids structures by using the finite element method, calculates and analyses the first ten order buckling mode and critical load of this space grid structure, studies the characteristics of each order buckling mode. Research results provide some theoretical significance and application value of stability design for space grid structure.
