Summary:Motion measurement of omni-directional M-mode echocardiography (OME) images has great significance in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease. In this paper, a new method used for detecting Omni-directional M-mode echocardiography moving curve is presented. This method bases on the correlation information (including time correlation, position correlation and gray-level correlation), effectively uses incremental hierarchy policy which combined with linear template and effective range probe. Motion parameters such as tissue moving amplitude, velocity, acceleration can be calculated accurately and quantificationally from moving curve. Experiments show that, our method is algorithmic ally simple, statistically accurate and robust in motion measurement of OME images.
