Summary:This paper outlines a novel technique to implement naturally equidistant and smooth sinusoidal fuzzy sets used in modelling and controlling both linear and nonlinear systems. This study describes the requirements and processes for designing equidistant sinusoidal membership functions in order to accomplish generalization, smoothing, and the use of fuzzy logic in modelling, simulating, and controlling both linear and nonlinear systems. The centroid defuzzification method is assessed using both traction and scaling techniques. MATLAB ⓒ software package is used to validate the mathematical equations of the model.
