Summary:Since education in China and the United States is significantly different, the research and development of educational robots have gradually shown their own characteristics. This paper takes educational robots in China and the United States as the research object, adopts a comparative study method and explores the current state of development of ten types of educational robotics products. The study found that educational robots in China and the United States share similarities in market, technology, and applications. However, the policy orientation, research focus, and educational teaching of educational robots in China and the United States are different. By comparing the current research status and the similarities and differences in the development of educational robots in China and the United States, four inspirations and suggestions are made for the future research and development of educational robots in China. China should expanding the research field of educational robots, strengthening the supervision of the educational robot industry, clarifying the teaching goals of educational robots, and exploring the integration of educational robots with other disciplines.
