Summary:When measuring the liquid level in industrial production, the contact measuring instrument isn't applicable, because the measured liquid is often flammable, explosive and volatile. Therefore, a measuring method is needed to realize the non-contact measurement for liquid level in the container. At present, the main core technologies of non-contact measurement for liquid level are radar liquid level measurement technology, laser liquid level measurement technology, ultrasonic liquid level measurement technology and other advanced technologies. Ultrasonic liquid level measurement technology can truly reach our goal due to ultrasonic wave's good directivity, strong penetration ability and avoiding direct contact between the liquid level indicator and the liquid medium. The non-contact measuring instrument for liquid level with large range, low blind zone and high quality is formed by studying the principle of ultrasonic ranging technology further and optimizing the scheme.
