Summary:Recently wastewater recycling has become a worldwide interest as a method to achieve sustainability. Due to our recent lack of fresh water in Egypt and the large consumption of fresh water in the field of construction, a solution is urgently needed. So recently, industrial wastewater has become an option to replace the use of potable water in concrete. This paper aims to conclude the previous work of researchers on the usage of treated industrial wastewater in cementitious products. It was concluded that the use of industrial wastewater in cementitious products is a viable option, but further studies on different types of industries water are needed. At the end of the manuscript a recommendation for further studies is given.
