Summary:A position sensorless control method is proposed for the doubly salient electromagnetic generator (DSEG) with bridge semi-controlled rectifier (BSR) in this paper. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of line-to-line voltage and shows the expression of line-to-line voltage. Then, a position estimation method based on zero crossing detection of line-to-line voltage is proposed. Moreover, to ensure that the zero crossing can be detected, a position estimation method by detecting the forward zero crossing is proposed after comparing the duration of positive and negative commutation. Finally, the experimental results validate the correctness and feasibility of the proposed method.
